Three STEPS to land an airport job: 1, 2, 3!:
Step One: Register below. We'll invite you to JOIN the program and take our Workshop.
Step Two: We'll send you information to think about (and exercises to work on) in advance of the WORKSHOP where we'll guide you through a process to create a personal PLAN4SUCCESS, earn an Edge4Vets CERTIFICATE and get connected to HR reps at airport companies in your community.
Step Three: At the Connection WORKSHOP, HR reps from our partner companies will work with you in small groups to help you identify strengths you developed in the military for an "edge" in the jobs marketplace, then will help you MATCH your skills and interests to jobs at their airport companies that fit YOU for a job can lead to an aviation career - and give you the life you want!
LAX Launched West Coast "EDGE4VETS" in April, 2017
"Mentors" from airport companies work with vets to help them translate their military strengths to earn jobs at LAX. Sponsors for the program offered by Edge4Vets in partnership with Los Angeles World Airports and ACI-NA in 2017 included Pacific Gateway, Landrum-Brown and HNTB. The next workshop at LAX will be April 24. Register now.
Executives from major South Florida businesses, led by Carnival Corporation, provided support to South Florida veterans from four schools, led by Miami Dade College West, for an Edge4Vets workshop in 2017. Hotels providing "mentors" through the Greater Miami and the Beaches Hotel Association, included Graham Companies, Airport Hilton, Loews Miami Beach, Crowne Plaza, along with Bank of America and Merrill Lynch. Edge4Vets works with Miami Dade Aviation Department to connect vets to airport jobs and directs vets from its workshops to Mission United for follow up support. Next workshop May 22, register now!

Program "Preps And Connects" Veterans for Airport Jobs
Broward County Aviation Department hosted the kick off of the Edge4Vets Fall workshop series in Florida sponsored by Carnival Coroporation with a group of business partners, including Baltic Linen, NuStar, Lukoil, Tropic Oil, Equivoice Cruises and Ecolab, with support from Rockwell Collins and endorsement from Airports Council Int'l -‐NA. Mentors from Carnival, JetBlue, Delaware North, Bank of America, Allegiant, BSO and Signature helped veterans from FAU, BC and other schools learn how to translate their military skills into tools for civilian success.
